The Enforcer is designed to compete directly with the likes of the Taser X26 and M26 series but at a lower price point. The Enforcer’s Dart Pro options have an effective range of 15 to 21 feet with a similar replaceable nitrogen cartridge as the means for propulsion. The replaceable ammunition cartridges are compatible with the Taser X26 and M26 ECDs, which eliminates the need to order Taser ammo for departments that already possess one of those models. In addition, the Enforcer uses technology that shuts down the unit if aggregate exposure to the body exceeds 15 seconds but can also be overridden. The Phazzer Enforcer features an internal 160-lumen, high-intensity LED light and four alternative variations of non-lethal ammunition cartridges that can each be fired one time. MSRP $599.99.

Remington 1911 R1

The Remington-branded 1911 R1 is an A1 variant of the 1911 with modern upgrades. Like the original 1911, the 1911 R1 has a flat mainspring housing, short trigger and double diamond grips. 1911 devotees will appreciate the modern enhancements, such as a flared and lowered ejection port; beveled magazine well; loaded chamber indicator; high-profile, dovetailed single-dot front and two-dot rear sights; a crisp 3.5- to 5-pound trigger pull; and a match-grade stainless-steel barrel and barrel bushing. Remington 700 Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that the Model 700 is turning 50 this year, even if many readers aren’t old enough to remember its introduction. To honor this milestone achievement, Remington is offering a limited-edition 700. The anniversary model will be chambered in the 7 mm Rem. Mag. — a throwback to the rifle’s first chambering. The R1 Carry is a full-size 1911 pistol that is “de-horned,” meaning that any sharp edges have been smoothed, making the pistol easier to carry and holster without the worry of the edges catching or grabbing. Remington R1 Stainless

Remington is looking to capitalize on the already-popular R1 with the introduction of a stainless model. The R1 Stainless features a three-dot sight and a traditional beavertail grip safety, 5-inch barrel, flared and lowered ejection port, double-diamond walnut wood grips and carbon-steel frame and slide. The R1 Stainless tips the scales at 38.5 ounces and holds seven rounds in the magazine, plus one in the chamber. R1s are hot and selling as fast as Remington can produce them. The stainless version, shipped standard with two magazines and a custom carrying case, promises to build on Remington’s previous success. MSRP $789.
