Learn More About the Consortium

Getting ahead in your career — this is a major goal for many law enforcement professionals. It’s common for law enforcement agencies to require four-year and graduate degrees before an officer can expect any advancement up the professional ladder. Recognizing that many LEOs have this goal in mind but are hindered by crazy work schedules, the FOP decided to collaborate with a select group of universities willing to offer FOP members the education they needed with a flexible schedule and reasonable cost. Since its inception in 2007, the National Fraternal Order of Police University (NFOPU) has successfully provided this opportunity to hundreds of FOP members. You can find a complete list of NFOPU Consortium schools here.
