The demand for efficient, flexible learning options for law enforcement officers looking to take their careers to the next level has never been higher. And especially at a time when educational settings are rapidly adapting due to the coronavirus pandemic, remote education is becoming the safest and most reliable as well as the most effective way to make your professional aspirations a reality.
We know what you’re thinking: “How can I balance school with a 40-plus-hour workweek and hours that constantly change?” That’s where the National Fraternal Order of Police University (NFOPU) comes in. Over a decade ago, the FOP joined forces with a consortium of accredited universities to meet the unique needs of its members. With a variety of distance-learning and nontraditionally structured programs designed to fit your busy schedule, it’s easy to find a program that’s perfect for you.
Many online learning options available through NFOPU can offer opportunities to:
- Learn at any hour of the day or night instead of attending classes on a predetermined schedule
- Start classes at a variety of times during the year, set your own pace and follow condensed course timelines designed for working adults
- Attend the college of your choice regardless of geographical location, and conduct your learning where you choose
- Connect with mentors and likeminded learners across the nation
- Learn in different and nontraditional styles, with emphasis on multimedia and interactivity
- Find support (technical, academic and even social opportunities) to help you adapt
Many of the NFOPU universities make earning your degree hassle-free and affordable by offering class credit for work experience and past education, special FOP discounts and more! Plus, the Grand Lodge’s Education Tuition Scholarship is available to reimburse eligible members enrolled in an NFOPU school.
Hundreds of members have seen their careers soar since taking advantage of what NFOPU has to offer. Are you ready to take the next step?
