For strong salmon and steelhead, the 14 technique-specific additions to the S-Curve Series are reinforced with a 1K, high-density, woven graphite cloth extending from the oversized fighting butt past the foregrip to increase hook-setting power 23% and improve fish-fighting strength. The stainless-steel guides, with zirconium rings, are lighter and avoid cracking, breaking or becoming grooved when used with the braided line. Spinning models include a custom split foregrip of rubber cork to allow for finger-to-blank contact and increased sensitivity, as well as a split rear handle for weight reduction and improved balance. Non-slip handles and reel seats guarantee a sure grip. In addition, the two new S-Glass Series rods are designed to improve the fish-attracting action of plugs of any size. Each rod is custom-painted using the new Stormy Skies color treatment for a unique appearance.
