L-3 Mobile-Vision’s AlertVU is an investigative database and crime-solving toolset with mapping; intelligent agency-wide alerting and ad-hoc hot lists; instant BOLO/AMBER alerts; and automatic wireless updating to and from units in the field. Using unique multi-algorithm recognition engines, AlertVU performs and reads plates in conditions that other manufacturers’ ALPR systems can’t. AlertVU saves plate reads to an intelligent database, which can be shared with cooperating agencies locally, regionally and around the country. AlertVU’s cameras provide the combination of both color and IR cameras.
