Browning, Browning is pleased to announce a scaled-down 22 L.R. version of this historic firearm. Proudly made in the USA, the frame and slide of the 1911-22 are machined from aluminum alloy with a matte-blued finish. The barrel features a stainless-steel barrel block and target crown. With a single-action trigger, the new 1911 gives you a straight blowback for enhanced simplicity and reliability. Other features include fixed sights, a detachable 10-round magazine, a manual thumb safety and a grip safety. Guns shipped in 2011 will include a special first year of production collector’s certificate, plus a free limited-edition commemorative canvas and leather-zippered pistol case.
