Rock River Arms Left-Handed AR

Rock River Arms (RRA) has released the RRA LAR-15LH LEF-T Elite Operator-L, which is designed exclusively for use by left-handed shooters. Delivering all the quality of the company’s standard RRA LAR-15, the LEF-T has been reconstructed for left-handed operation. But it’s not just a left-handed upper attached to a standard lower receiver; it’s a gun that is tailor-made for left-handed shooters from start to finish. The RRA LAR-15LH features a two-stage trigger, 16-inch chrome molly barrel with a 1:9 twist and tactical muzzle break. The handguard is RRA’s Half Quad Free Float and comes with three rail covers, while the buttstock is RRA’s Operator CAR stock with an ERGO grip. The RRA LAR-15LH tips the scales at 8 pounds, spans a full 37 inches and prints one-MOA groups at 100 yards. MSRP $1,050.

SIG Sauer P290

SIG Sauer P290 SIG Sauer’s polymer-frame, lightweight pistol brings reliability to a new backup pocket-carry pistol. Unlike many small pistols, the P290 features drift-adjustable sights in standard Sig Sauer dovetails. This gives shooters the option of either standard contrast sights or SIGLite night sights. Designed as a pocket or backup pistol, the P290 features a double-action-only trigger for reliability and safety. Magazine capacity is six rounds with the standard flush-fit magazine, and an optional eight-round extended-capacity magazine is planned. Despite its small size and weight (20.5 ounces with magazine), the P290 offers a reversible magazine catch that is left-hand adjustable.

Smith & Wesson M&P15 VTAC II

Smith & Wesson worked closely with Kyle Lamb of Viking Tactics to design the specifications for the M&P15 VTAC II. The new tactical rifle offers reduced recoil and improved accuracy based on the mid-length system. The rifle’s 16-inch barrel is constructed of 4150 CMV steel and is standard with a 1-in-8-inch rate of twist and a Melonite® finish. The rifle also features 5R rifling, which maintains accuracy and helps to reduce copper fouling and cleaning times, and is available with a VTAC®/Troy™ Extreme TRX Handguard that allows for quick target transitions made possible by its lightweight, ergonomic design.
