The LC9 is a double-action-only, hammer-fired, locked-breech pistol with a smooth trigger pull. The LC9 was not developed to include every feature, just the most useful ones. The LC9 is compact – just slightly larger (less than 1 inch in both height and length) than the popular LCP. The rugged construction features a blued, through-hardened alloy-steel slide and black, one-piece grip frame. Sighting is improved with the dovetailed, high-visibility 3-Dot Sight System with windage-adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight. Safety features include an internal lock, manual safety and loaded-chamber indicator that provides visual and tactile indication of whether the chamber is loaded.

My summer off duty carry pistol. It took about 250 rounds through the gun for me to warm up to it. The trigger pull feels a little longer than it should, but then you don’t have to worry about an AD if you are carrying with out a holster. My last qual with this pistol was 214 out of 220. My 25 yards shots were a little outside, grouping in the right shoulder of the target. The only down side is trying to find a good holster and spare mag carrier.
